At Avo Maternity Skin & Bodywork, my mission goes beyond massage. As a certified Global Know Your Lemons® Educator, I’m honored to share life-saving breast health education with women in all stages of life especially during pregnancy.
Pregnancy brings many changes to the body especially the breasts. While most are normal, it’s important for expectant mothers to understand what’s typical and what could be a sign of concern. Pregnancy-Associated Breast Cancer (PABC), though rare, can occur, and early detection is critical. That’s why I believe breast health awareness should be part of prenatal wellness.
Through free community workshops, one-on-one sessions, and presentations, Avo Cares is here to educate, empower, and support. Together, we nurture body, mind, and awareness from avocados to lemons.

Know your lemons is a free community-based breast health education program designed to empower women with lifesaving knowledge through accessible, engaging classes.

Why I became a Global Know Your Lemons® Educator:
​
While running my massage practice in Cincinnati for eight years, I became deeply involved in birth work and maternity services. As I supported more women, I found myself wanting to go deeper not just into birth, but into women’s health as a whole.
Many clients came to me with questions about their breasts about pain, changes, or concerns and I realized I didn’t always have the answers. That made me reflect on my own breast health, too.
When I started researching, I found Know Your Lemons, and immediately thought: This is it. This is what I’ve been looking for. It was clear, visual, empowering and I knew I wanted to be part of it, not just for my clients, but for myself and my community.

In 2023, I proudly joined the Lemonsita Community and became a Global Know Your Lemons Educator. A decision that has allowed me to merge education with care and continue my mission of supporting women with compassion and confidence.
