Body Behavior:
Baby Prep for Dogs

Expecting a baby? Don’t forget your first baby the one with paws.
Your dog should know what to expect when your expecting too.

When we’re planning to welcome a new baby, we prep the nursery, stock the freezer, and plan for every little detail…

But we often forget about our first babies  the ones with paws.

When I brought home my youngest son Austin, our sweet fur baby Max was so confused. He didn’t understand why I smelled different, why there was a tiny human crying all the time, or why he wasn’t allowed to sleep in our room anymore. He was stressed, unsure, and clearly grieving the sudden change in our routine and bond.

That experience is why I created Body Behavior: Baby Prep for Dogs: a calming, in-home session that blends canine massage therapy with practical behavioral support to help dogs (and their families) prepare for baby in a mindful, loving way.

You're not the only one nervous about you new addition
