Policies

Thank you for choosing Avo for your maternal wellness and prenatal care. Your time and care are valuable, and these policies help ensure every client receives the nurturing, consistent experience they deserve.

Scheduling & Appointments

  • Sessions are available by appointment only.

​

  • Please schedule in advance to secure your preferred time.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. No fee applies.

​

  • Less Than 24 Hours / Same-Day Cancellations: A $50 cancellation fee will apply. Exceptions may be made in cases of illness, pregnancy complications, or medical emergencies.

  • No-Shows: Clients who do not attend their scheduled session without notice will be charged the full session fee.

Pregnancy & Postpartum Considerations

  • I understand that pregnancy and postpartum life can be unpredictable. If you are feeling unwell, have sudden pregnancy-related concerns, or your provider advises rest, please notify me as soon as possible. Exceptions may be made at my discretion.

  • For ongoing clients, one grace cancellation per year may be granted for unexpected pregnancy events.

Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your session.

​

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit card, Apple/Google Pay, or other arrangements approved in advance.

​

  • For mobile sessions, payment can also be collected in person via card.

Travel & Mobile Sessions

  • Travel outside my standard service area (The Colony, Frisco, Plano, Little Elm, Carrollton & Lewisville) 30 minutes or more is subject to a flat $30 travel fee.

​

  • Mobile sessions require a clear, accessible, single-level space for setup. Homes with multiple flights of stairs may not be suitable for mobile visits; in-office sessions are recommended in these cases.

Refunds

  • All services and classes are non-refundable, as time and materials are reserved exclusively for you. If something unexpected comes up, I’m here to help you reschedule within the cancellation window whenever possible.

  • Refunds are only issued in the event that I must cancel your appointment. 

If I Need to Cancel Your Appointment

  • In the rare event that I must cancel or reschedule your appointment due to illness, emergency, or an unforeseen circumstance, you will be notified as soon as possible. You may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of any prepaid amount. Your comfort, safety, and care are always my priority, and I will make every effort to accommodate you at the earliest available time.
